How to get over the wall to reach your PTE goal

Have you ever found yourself wondering if the PTE Academic is even possible? Maybe you say to yourself, “I cannot achieve this. A 79+ is not possible for me.”

But how much time and effort have you already put in?

There is an expression in English: back against a wall. It means that you are in an impossible situation. You have two choices: fight or flight.

The PTE can feel a lot like your back is against a wall.

You’ve made so many attempts that haven’t gotten you the score you desire.

You’ve spent time away from family to scavenge for resources to help you prepare.

If you’re reading this message and feeling like you’re ready to give in, then stop reading here.

But if you’re ready to fight….

The best thing that you can do to meet your goal is to find your weaknesses and make them your strengths.

  • Struggle in the reading section? Find short articles online to read every single day.

  • Have difficulties with fill-in-the-blanks? Practice that question format for at least 20 minutes.

  • Need listening help? Find short podcasts about non-fiction topics to listen to on your commute each day.

  • Cannot crack the essay due to grammar? There are thousands of sites for grammar to help you practice.

These tips can mean the difference between you giving up on your dream and LIVING your dream.

To use another common phrase: keep your chin up. Keep going. Keep practicing. Keep fighting.

If you’re seriously motivated, we want to join you side in the fight. What is your biggest doubt right now? What is holding your back against the wall?
